What is SnapFiles Pro?
SnapFiles Pro is the subscription version of our popular SnapFiles software download site. We call it the "Pro" version because it offers a variety of additional features that are mostly of interest to users that are frequently downloading software and want more control and features like download tracking, update notifications etc.
Our Pro version offers the same software downloads that are available from our public site, so there is really no need to join our subscription site, unless you are interested in the additional features that we offer.
No advertising banners, customizable features, custom RSS feeds, Favorite Downloads, Local files and more...!

Custom E-mail alerts
Just click a button and we will send you a short email message whenever selected programs are updated on the site.
Or select the categories that interest you and we will send you an email if we add new software that matches your criteria (price, license, rating, category...)

Custom RSS feeds
Create custom RSS feeds that inform you about new software that matches your criteria, as well as updates for selected software products and new products from selected authors.
These feeds are completely customizable and generated from your personal preferences. An easy to use online manager allows you to add/remove items, and to create new feeds.

Favorite Downloads
You can add any program to your Favorite Downloads, which allows you to store them in our online database for quick reference, and we also check for updates every day and notify you on the home page if there is a newer version available.
In addition, our unique FileBin allows you to store downloads for later, which is handy if you don't have time to download right away (or are at work) but want to follow up on it later.
Automatic Download History
We automatically maintain a list of all programs you download, with link to their product page (delete your history at any time).

Side by Side option
In addition to our normal category pages , we also offer a side-by-side view that allow you to view all, shareware AND freeware programs in a category side-by-side.
All of our category listings also have a small screenshot included and you can sort them by rating, price, date etc. You can even set a default preference, so the categories will always be sorted your way!

Favorite Categories
You can create a list of Favorite Categories and quickly see a list of software that has been added over the past weeks or months. New arrival will also be posted on your home page...

Custom homepage
Your SnapFiles Pro home page is customized for you and displays your recent downloads, new arrivals in favorite categories, updates to your favorite downloads and more. You can also customize it, so that it displays only freeware, and add your personal links...

Direct Downloads & Local files
All downloads are launched with one click, no intermediate download page (Please wait...). In addition, we keep local backup copies of all freeware programs, so even if the author's server is down or the link dead, you can always download it directly from our server (which is also faster than most freeware servers).
